Utah's Malouf Foundation joins with Elizabeth Smart, John Walsh to combat sexual violence.
SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Elizabeth Smart, an assault survivor, partnered with the Malouf Foundation and "America's Most Wanted" host John Walsh to raise awareness about sexual violence and exploitation against children.
The Malouf Foundation, which confronts sex trafficking and online abuse, recently hosted a summit at the state Capitol to educate Utahns and provide resources to combat these issues.
"We’ve worked together all these 20 years. She’s very involved in our national center for missing and exploited children and now she’s partnered with the Malouf Foundation, (Kacie) and Sam Malouf, which could be a model for the nation," John Walsh said of the partnership.
